"As a functional veterinarian clinician, I see a bio-appropriate diet as the easiest and most important way to improve a dog’s health. It also encourages other good lifestyle habits supporting overall well-being, fundamental to the kind of medicine I believe in."

“His coat and poop are much better & he loves his food! I'm so happy that I found you! Transformation! I would recommend anyone to make their own dogs food, I wish I of done it years ago! I'm really enjoying helping him live his best life, too!”

The food my vet recommended wasn’t working. I was very stressed. Cam’s method was easy to implement and my dog is better than ever.

Our dog was recently diagnosed with kidney failure…Cam put together a feeding plan for her very quickly and provided support… Her improvement has been nothing short of amazing.

I wish I had the honour of meeting Cam years ago but even at this late stage he has performed a miracle on my little dog and saved his life. My 12 year old Chorkie has always suffered digestion issues…He now never licks at all! AMAZING. He doesn't go off scavenging on walks, he is calmer and full of contentment. I am now evangelising about Cam to everyone.

Cystine stones

Cam helped us with his specialized diet for our English Bulldog, Buddha, who was diagnosed with cystine stones in the bladder. Unfortunately, after surgery, there was a recurrence. We switched from dry food to cooked food, and thanks to the recipe, knowledge and support we received from Cam, everything is looking good so far. Thumbs up👍🏼

Cystine Stones

My male beagle (3 years old) developed bladder stones. We took him to vets and they confirmed he had cystine stones. They told us operation is the only way, diet won't do anything, he needs to be neutered and he'll be on prescription diet for the rest of his life. Having always raw fed and to be told processed food is the only way forward baffled me. Then they threatened to report us to RSPCA if we didn't go ahead with procedure which was the final straw for us.

So we reached out to Cam and bought the plan. Cam was so helpful and wanted to make sure we had the right plan for his type of stones. He answered all my questions at no extra cost. The plan itself is really detailed, it has a good intro on the type of stones, why they are formed and what does and doesn't work. Recipes are great and Barney loves them, if you need to tweak it cam will advise too.

The results: Barney's wees have gone from being a few drips to a decent flow, almost back to normal ( its been roughly 1 month). We're not totally out of the woods, there is a slight risk you take with male dogs when dissolving them which is a stone getting stuck in the urethra, but cams advice of constantly dissolving whilst really hydrating them ensures the bladder is being flushed out and the concentration of cystine is reduced.

My advice is use the vet to find out what type of stone they've got then reach out to cam.

Great!

After my dog had Cystine bladder stones removed I was totally confused about what to feed him to prevent a recurrence. I started him on a commercial food for bladder stones but he lost muscle mass and was constantly hungry. I looked round the internet for help and found Cam the Dog Nutritionist. Finally I have found the help I needed. I now have a diet plan for home cooked food and my dog is much definitely happier.

Help finally

My dog has bladder stones. She is on the Royal Canine, uniinary SO. Coco is very finicky. She only eats it when she gets very hungry. I have been searching for a way to help her. I always got the same answer, this food or surgery. No one knew a diet that would help with Struvite stone. I found you on YouTube and, finally, someone who could help. I have not tried the recipes because we have been traveling. But as soon as I get back home, we will try them. I will let you know how it goes in a couple of months. I can not thank you enough. Coco, thank you, too.

Good science-based recipes

After our Havanese became quite ill with urinary infections and some large kidney stones (struvite/calcium oxalate mix), we wanted to change her food to try to prevent a recurrence. But we didn't want to switch away from home-made food if we could help it. Cam's recipe book has helped us do this straightforwardly, and we think the recipes are well designed and evidence based. Now we have to cross our fingers that the stones don't return; what is for sure in the meantime is that she is enjoying the food!
